In 1979, the Edmonton Oilers stepped into the NHL and introduced to the league to a new brand of hockey. With a fine group of young talented players that included the likes of Gretzky, Messier, Coffey and Fuhr, the team dominated the NHL in the 1980s. Winning five Stanley Cups in the 1980s and 1990s, the Oilers etched their name in the game of hockey as one of the greatest dynasties in the history of the game.
